Please arrive 15 minutes before the starting time

When booking for children under 18 years, a government-issued ID/passport will be required when entering the monument. Failure to bring an ID with you can result in the security staff refusing you entrance to the monument.

Bring a mobile or printed copy of the booking voucher

Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or late arrivals. If you are late to arrive at the meeting point, you will not be able to join your tour.

Tours will run rain or shine (unless the monument is closed by the official administration for safety reasons)

The tour itinerary can start with either the Colosseum or the Palatine Hill/Roman.

Aerosols, sharp objects and large backpacks will not be allowed

The meeting time can be subject to change. In this case, we will call/text you in advance to let you know.

There are mandatory security checks at all entry points to the sites. The time spent in the security line varies and this line cannot be ‘skipped.’ The wait time for the security check can be considerable during peak times/seasons and has nothing to do with the ticket line.

The Colosseum - although it was short

Would have liked to have spent more time in the Colosseum itself rather than going into the forum, I noticed some tours started in the forum and finsished in the Colosseum -why did my tour not do this

Luca our guide was excellent

Luca was excellent, very knowledge and very experienced, some minor technical issues with the microphones but he managed to sort it. Company running the tour I would give 2/5 stars, wrong directions in all emails/communications, luckily they contacted to change our tour and put the correct address in a WhatsApp message and we found our way.

Colosseum was breathtaking.

Despite an early setback with our initial booking the staff were fantastic and managed to get us on the next tour in a couple hours. So glad we waited. What a fantastic tour and very knowledgeable guide. Really brought the history alive.

Arrived at the meeting point and nobody was there. Asked some other tours if it was our tour and it wasn’t. Didn’t get anything at all. Tried calling the number several times and no answer. Do not book this.

Really enjoyed learning more about Ancient Rome

This tour offers an incredible insight into ancient Rome, covering three of the city's most important historical sites. The Colosseum was, of course, a standout, but I was equally fascinated by the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, where you can really imagine what life was like centuries ago. Our guide was engaging and informative, answering all of our questions with ease. The tour was well-organized, and despite the crowds, we managed to enjoy every moment. Definitely one of the best ways to explore Rome's ancient history!
